Caesarstone Kitchen of the Year Episode 3

Caesarstone has released the third episode in their Caesarstone Kitchen of the Year series on The Home Channel.

After calling for South Africa's top kitchen designs featuring Caesarstone surfaces, judges Reuben Riffel, Bielle Bellingham, Brad van den Berg, Beth Haynes and Mor Krisher sat down to select South Africa's top 8 kitchens.

For the first time in the competition's history, both kitchen designers and their homeowner clients were invited to enter. This bold move recognises the shift in the design process that sees more of a collaboration between the designer and client.

In episode 3 presenters Lisa Aspeling and Howard Fyvie visit the second finalist kitchen by Andrea Neer and Mariaan van Zyl of Espresso Design in the Bokaap in Cape Town. What sets this kitchen apart is that it was designed for their kitchen showroom and didn't require taking a client's preferences into consideration, so they could do as they pleased.

This Caesaerstone Kitchen of the Year finalist features Caesarstone Organic White countertops showcasing an unusual reverse bevel with 45 degree angles. The light countertop is contrasted with a dark wood and makes use of all the latest high quality runners and soft-close technology, as well as imported, Cesar cabinetry.

These designers are in the running to earn the title of Caesarstone Kitchen of the Year, and stand a chance to win R50,000 each! KitchenAid hampers are up for grabs for the top 3 finalists, which will be selected and revealed in episode 10.
