Caesarstone 2014 Expo Stand Awarded at Decorex Durban

Caesarstone once again took top honours at Decorex Durban, winning the Best Stand in the Kitchen and Bathrooms category with its spectacular, foodie-centric, cooking school stand.

Inspiration from the stand comes from the Caesarstone 2014 marketing campaign Celebrating Life, which focuses on the foodie revolution, as well as developments in surface design and innovation. “We believe without a doubt that our 2014 expo stand is the best yet,” says Caesarstone South Africa’s marketing director, Trevor King. “We’ve realised that expo stands are no longer just about showcasing our products, but that show visitors need to be entertained as well as informed,” he says. With visitors literally stopping in their tracks to admire the Caesarstone stand, this year’s expo stand does just that.

The gorgeous chandelier from Weylandts pulls the larger-than-life pantry together, adding a touch of drama to the pantry-come-master-chef-studio kitchen design. Malissa Barnard, Caesarstone’s senior consultant, explains, “We wanted to create a luxury deli look and feel with this space and spent many hours searching for artisanal food items to load the shelves. The KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixers and Le Creuset kitchen ware added the final touches to this exciting stand, which has enthralled and captivated visitors, and of course the judges”. Farm-style, custom made bottling labels were also designed in-house to carry the look and feel through to every element on the stand.

The main kitchen island is topped with Caesarstone Bianco Drift – a romantic mix of grey swirls and granite patterning with a slight shimmer, while the four mini islands are topped for the four new vibrant colours: Vanilla Noir (5100); Clamshell (4130); Bianco Drift (6131) and Coastal Grey (6003). The new colour palette additions to the Classico range for 2014 are in the same genre of the 2013 Supernatural range colours, encapsulating the natural beauty of marble and granite patterning, while offering the lasting benefits of a trusted Caesarstone quartz surface.

The new Caesarstone colours will give homeowners and kitchen design enthusiasts the option of getting the granite and marble natural stone look, but with all the advantages of the ultimate kitchen surface: durability, scratch, stain, heat and chip resistance, easy maintenance and a lifetime warranty.
