The Kitchen as a Living Space - Kitchen Design Trends from Eurocucina

Open plan living has begun to erode the space between kitchen, dining room and lounge and this was quite evident at Eurocucina 2014 by the inclusion of couches, televisions and armchairs, dining room tables and reading spots within kitchen spaces. The old adage, ‘the kitchen is the heart of the home’ became a reality as we pictured families and friends hanging out together, eating, drinking, reading and watching TV in these multi-functional areas.
