Cutting edge expertise and inspiring designs lead to innovative and functional homes and kitchens. To recognise and celebrate the genius of South African designers, design students and educators, CaesarStone sponsors two annual design competitions.
Kitchen Design Competition
The CaesarStone Kitchen Design competition is focused on rewarding excellence in kitchen design. This annual competition is open to all practicing kitchen designers. There are no limits to the number of projects each designer can submit. All submissions must be kitchens which feature CaesarStone quartz surfaces and have been built and installed. The grand prize for the Kitchen Design competition winner is an all expenses paid trip to an overseas destination of architectural significance.
Student Design Competition
The CaesarStone Student Design competition challenges design students with innovative design projects. This annual competition is geared to architectural and design students studying at all South African universities that offer architectural courses. Recognizing how important educators are to our future, CaesarStone’s grand prize is awarded to both the winning student and their lecturer. In addition, CaesarStone sponsors an awards evening, giving students a chance to meet and speak to representatives from major architectural firms.
