  • How can I check if I have genuine Caesarstone surfaces?

Genuine Caesarstone has the name “CAESARSTONE” and a unique serial number printed diagonally across the back of the slab. Imitation products do not have this feature. For more help with this, contact us on

+27 (0) 83 608 5810 or [email protected]. Many people have confused our brand name as the generic term for quartz surfaces. This is why we recommend that if you’ve asked for Caesarstone you check to ensure you are getting Caesarstone.

  • Where can I put Caesarstone surfaces?

Caesarstone surfaces are virtually non-porous, so they are ideal for areas that need to be hygiene sensitive. Kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, shower cladding, stairways, wall panels and backsplashes are just some of the areas Caesarstone surfaces are applied. As Caesarstone surface resin is not UV stable, we do not recommend outdoor installations. View various applications here >>

  • Can I customise my Caesarstone surface?

Caesarstone slabs come in a standard size (3.05m x 1.44m), but a variety of edge profiles, shapes or designs can be created when the cutting and installation takes place. Your kitchen designer or fabricator should be able to offer you advice about which options will work best for your design project, ahead of the actual installation. To prevent wastage and achieve the most economical cut from the slab, we recommend keeping the width of your island countertops at 80cm – this will give you the most use out of each slab.

  • Why should I register my slab's warranty?

Registering your slabs will ensure that, should you need to claim against the warranty, your Caesarstone surfaces will be speedily attended to. Your details will be logged into the system and you'll receive a complimentary cleaning kit to help look after your new surfaces. Registering your Caesarstone slabs will also give you peace of mind that you have installed genuine Caesarstone in your home.

  • How do I clean my Caesarstone countertops?

We highly recommend investing in our Caesarstone approved cleaning products to ensure the longevity of your Caesarstone surfaces. Since Caesarstone surfaces do not require sealing, they are far more durable than granite, marble, and limestone, which makes cleaning Caesarstone simple! For stubborn marks, we recommend using Caesarstone Cream Cleanser with a non-scratch, delicate sponge.  To learn more about cleaning your surfaces, watch our Care and Maintenance video.

  • Can I put hot pots directly onto Caesarstone countertops?

It is not advisable to put hot pots directly onto Caesarstone countertops, as the dramatic temperature change can cause thermal shock, cracks or burn marks. We recommend using a trivet for all items straight out of the oven or off the hob to ensure your Caesarstone remains in perfect condition for a lifetime. • How do I buy Caesarstone?

As Caesarstone requires customised cutting and installation, quotations on material and installation can be acquired by contacting us via the Get-a-Quote page. We will put you in touch with your nearest Caesarstone Accredited Fabricator and ensure that you receive the highest quality service.

All fabricators require drawings and an idea of which Caesarstone colours, profiles and applications you are interested in for them to provide you with an accurate quote. Caesarstone is sold exclusively in South Africa by a national distributor called International Slab Sales (Pty) Ltd.

  • What does Caesarstone cost?

Recommended prices start between R2150 to R2400 per linear metre, excluding VAT & depending on the geographic location. Please contact a Caesarstone Accredited Fabricator for an accurate quote, specific to your needs.

  • What should I ask my kitchen designer or fabricator before installing Caesarstone?

Ask your kitchen designer or fabricator to give you all the information about different edge profile options suitable for different design styles.  A helpful principle to keep in mind is the more rounded the edge of your countertop, the safer it will be from accidental chips.

Ensure that they have the correct grouting colour to match your preferred Caesarstone surface and that they are able to make the joins as seamless as possible.

Ask your fabricator to explain the best care and maintenance practices for your surfaces and then be sure to explain them to your household too.
